Zombies in the Kitchen!

As we’ve learned, zombies love to eat brains. But if there are no brains to be had, the undead have been known to nom nom tasty zombie cookies.

To make your own zombie cookies, use a gingerbread cookie cutter cut out the undead—just make sure you trim off a few limbs! Don’t forget the blood (red food coloring) and exposed brains (walnuts). There are yummy gingerbread zombie cookies here and here.  Or take a hint from the crafty-as-a-fox Red Velvet Girls and zombify sugar cookies by decorating them with frosting and mismatched gummy candy, M&Ms, peppermints, and Twizzlers! John Wye’s sugar cookie zombies are especially gruesome. BRAAAINS! COOOOOOOKIES!!!
