The murmurs (and loud shouts, let’s be honest) around the Quirk Books HQ on Tuesday were full of excitement and awe. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies was shown on the season premier of Heroes the night before. What?!?!
Not all of us knew it was going to happen, and many of us were alerted by way of Facebook messages from friends and excited phone calls from family: “Did you see your book on the TV?” The office was filled with a sort of wide-eyed realization of how far the book has come. Posting the still image on various Facebook pages yielded tons of comments and kudos.
One fan said of the event, “My roommate woke me up to see this!”
Another commented, “I saw that and totally yelled at my husband about it!!”
All of the feedback and enthusiasm made our collective hearts flutter while we LOL’d at the same time.
Thanks for seeing it, for laughing, for screaming for your husband to quick get in the room and see it, for slapping your roommate on the shoulder to get her to look at it…
And to those who didn’t see it, enjoy the still! Note the delicate handling of the book so the Zombie Lady was perfectly visible. Thank you, Heroes!
