Ok. They have totally ruined Pride and Prejudice for me. What is up with the zombies? Its so weird. What is up with Elizabeth wanting to slit Mr. Darcy’s throat?! Thats just crazy. I love Mr. Darcy. This is just too hardcore. I don’t think it is good at all.

Avid Jane Austen fan…I actually found the zombies written in pretty well (mostly). A quite amusing addition. What I didn’t appreciate were the sexual references starting around page 200 or so. Having Mr. Bennet sleep with Oriental women was a totally unnecessary sentence. Nothing to do with the real story OR zombies. Also, the injection of an old lover of Mrs. Gardiner’s (which I’m sure she was a virgin when they married) was totally out of context and taste. Especially implying that she was “meeting” him in while they were in Lampton. Lastly, the references to the “very English” part of gentleman was extremely crude and tastless. Besides, since when are penis’ “English”. I am not a prude, and have read many erotic books, however, the aforementioned passages had no place in this story.
