Judging by this clip from The Today Show, it appears that bestselling author Dan Brown is desperately trying to capitalize on all of the stunning advance buzz for Quirk’s forthcoming Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters — in fact, Mr. Brown appears to have written an entire laboratory full of tentacled creatures into his new novel, The Lost Symbol!!!!!
Let’s be clear: Both books will be arriving in stores on September 15 — but only one of them features rampaging lobsters, giant octopi, two-headed sea serpents, and a mischievous orangutan. Accept no substitutions, people!
