National Pet Week is drawing to a close, and I’d like to introduce you to the pups of Jessica Schmidt, Director of Sales and animal lover & rescuer extraordinaire. Her love and dedication to her dogs (and the dogs of others) is nothing less than inspiring! The animal kingdom owes a big debt of gratitude to Jessica and her husband, Nathan.
Oh, and her dogs are adorable!
Piper (above) is a three-year old shiba inu/german shepherd/air raid siren mix. Her favorite activities include barking, snuggling, playing with her kong, and stealing toilet paper while mommy is in the shower.
Scully (left) is a 14-year young border collie/siberian husky. She enjoys cold weather, snow, scooby snacks, belly rubs, the couch, and generally bossing everyone around.
Ode to Sabre:
Sabre was our handsome malamute mix who passed away in December. We rescued him from the shelter just a few short years ago so he could live out his senior years in a happy home. Sabre enjoyed cold weather, going for walks (his favorite), peanut butter, and lovely ladies - human and dog alike, although his heart truly belonged to Bella the chihuahua who lives across the street.
