To celebrate the launch of our Quirk Classics website on October 30, we have been running a slew of contests. We’ve been giving away books, signed copies of books, posters, and some more books. But one contest stood out from the rest. In our Monster T contest, we asked fans to go to anywhere online - and the internet is a pretty big place - to find the best Monster-themed T-shirt out there.
Our response was tremendous. We saw some amazing designs that ran the gamut from cutesy to horrifying: from zombie hamsters to the zombie food pyramid, and from a bear pirate to a “turn into a zombie shirt“.
It was a very tough decision. They were all so good, I could only narrow it down to ten out of 35. Our whole office was worn about it, but it finally came down to two shirts. We won’t mention the other shirt that almost made the cut, because we don’t want to make anybody sad. But with bonus points for creativity, irony, hilarity, and a good coating of fake bloody hand prints, our winner was…
Intramural Zombie Hunting League! We <3 it. It’s a mash-up of your community soccer jersey and zombies. What more could we ask for?
