As a general rule you should start small and slowly work up to the bigger, more intense kisses. If you initiate a kiss that your partner doesn’t like, back off for a moment and then slowly begin again. Use any of the following techniques:
• Soft, close-lipped kisses on the neck or sides of face.
• Moistened close-lipped kisses on the lips.
• Moistened, partly open-lipped kisses on the lips (no tongue).
• Open-mouthed kisses with tongue. As you move into this kiss, you may experience a wetter, harder kiss. Check in with your partner before moving on to the advanced tongue techniques, which include:
• Tongue between inner lips and gums.
• Tongue thrusting forcefully into mouth.
• Biting lips or tongue.
