Ride in the street with the flow of traffic, at least 3 feet from parked cars. Watch for cars that have suddenly stopped in front of you or have just pulled in to park, as both are more likely to have doors open into your path. Maintain speeds only at which sudden and complete braking is possible. Always wear a helmet when riding.
