From Booze Cakes
This spring, Alexandra Bitzer joined us for an editorial internship. She deftly assisted with all sorts of quirky book projects, from Masterpuppet Theatre to Yum-Yum Bento Box and Booze Cakes. (Read about her baking adventures with boozy Mexican Chocolate Cakes covered with gooey delicious Tequila Cajeta Caramel Sauce here!) We will miss Ali-and not just because she brought us terrifically yummy homemade confections. The pretty pink frosted strawberry cupcakes she baked for us on her last day at Quirk Books were so *%$#^! lovely that we had to snap a few photos before every last cupcake was gobbled up.
